What the widget does
The snippet adds a floating WhatsApp button to every page of your site. Tapping it opens a chat with your number and a prefilled message. It is plain HTML and CSS with a wa.me link behind it, so there is no script to load, no third-party tracking and nothing that slows the page.
It works on any site where you can paste HTML: WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Webflow, a hand-built page, or a landing page builder.
Setup that converts
- Prefill a message that names the page or offer, so you know what the visitor was looking at.
- Place it bottom-right on desktop and keep it clear of your cookie bar and cart button on mobile.
- Say who replies and when, in the greeting text: "Chat with Riya, replies within 10 minutes, 10am to 7pm".
- Make sure someone is actually watching the number. A widget that goes unanswered costs more trust than no widget.
When the widget is not enough
If more than one person needs to answer, or you want to reply from a desk rather than a phone, put the number on the WhatsApp Business API with a shared inbox. The same widget keeps working, and chats land in Boldally Chat where they can be assigned and tracked. Add the button elsewhere with a click-to-chat link.

How do I add the widget to my site?
Copy the snippet and paste it just before the closing body tag of your site, or into a custom-HTML block in your website builder. It's plain HTML, so it works on WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Webflow, and hand-coded sites.
Does the widget slow down my site?
No. It's a single link with inline styles and no external scripts, images, or tracking. It adds almost nothing to your page weight.
Can I change the colour or side later?
Yes. Come back, set it up again, and paste the new snippet over the old one. The green in the snippet is WhatsApp's brand colour, but you can pick any colour that fits your site.
