Why I built Boldally Chat
Small teams in India run their business on WhatsApp. They also run it from personal phones, which means messages get missed, nobody can hand a conversation over, and there is no record of what was promised.
The tools that fix that mostly add their own margin on top of Meta’s per-message rates. Twenty percent is common, and it is rarely stated plainly. At volume that is the largest line on the bill, and it grows as the business grows.
So Boldally Chat charges for the software and passes Meta’s rates through at cost. You pay Meta what Meta charges. That is the whole pitch, and it is the reason the pricing page shows the rate table instead of hiding it.
How I work
I am still the most senior engineer on the team and I write roughly a third of the code. I do not hand a project to someone junior and move on to the next deal.
I will also push back. Most of the time a customer knows their business better than I do, but sometimes what gets asked for will not work for the people who have to use it. Saying so is part of the job.
We are bootstrapped. No investors, no growth targets set by someone else, no pressure to raise prices on a schedule.
